Our Summer So Far

We have had a very fun summer. This last weekend dan's best friend Tanner and his wife Melanie, along with their two girls, came to visit us from Utah. We were excited to see them because they were the first people who came to visit us is our new home and stay for a few days. Dan took some time off work and we went to visit a few of the sites around here. On Saturday we went to Mount St. Helens. This was the first time Dan and I have been there and we have lived here for over three years. It was a nice day, but when we got to the Johnston Ridge Observatory, it was cloudy and we couldn't see the mountain. I think we will have to try again soon. On Monday we drove to Tillamook, Oregon and went to the cheese factory. It is fun to see how they make and package it. And of course you can't leave the cheese factory without getting samples of cheese and an ice cream cone. After Tillamook, we went to Oceanside to the Beach. Brooklynn was so excited to play at the Beach, but before we could, Melanie took our family pictures. I am excited to see how they turned out. The last family picture we had was when Konner was a year old. We now have one more child, so I figured it was time. We were sad to see our friends leave because we had such a good time with them. Hopefully we will see them again soon. Here are a few pictures. I am a little sad because we didn't even get a picture of Tanner and Dan together. Maybe next time.
